When college friends, Josh Fromowitz '21, Alex Kassel '21, Steven Bonazzo '22, and Tj Hummel '21, took Professor Abe Hefter's podcasting class, they never expected a global pandemic to take away their opportunity to be sports reporters for the Hartford Wolfpack. Undeterred, they combined their love for sports and their podcasting knowledge to form the 3Peat Podcast.

When she’s not out hawk-watching, you can also find Crissi working as the assistant director of Cornell’s LGBT Resource Center—a career she was ready for after her UHart experience as an RA. “Being an RA not only revealed student affairs as a career path, but instilled a deep love for the work, which has led to a master’s degree in higher education and nearly 10 years of experience in the field.”

Perhaps one of the reasons the red-tailed hawk is so common is that they are very adaptable to many different environments, including woodlands, deserts, forests, and even along busy roadsides. Alumni like Emily Meachon '16 also found themselves easily adapting to a new environment in Germany, making big career moves while keeping in touch with great friends from UHart.

While we're not sure about the aerial displays, we do know that friendships born at UHart last, and those connections support our alumni throughout their personal and professional lives. The connections Jackie Tamburri '15 made while at UHart allowed her to move to Western Australia with her partner and pursue her career.
